Hutch's Taxidermy is one of Pennsylvania's
premier full-time taxidermy and wildlife art studios. It is their goal to
provide you with a mount that you will be proud to display in your home
or office. They strive to capture the lifelike appearance of every animal
mounted by using the highest quality materials and the most advanced taxidermy
and preservation techniques. By doing so, you are assured of receiving a
mount that will remain lustrous and a pleasure to own for years to come.
Taxidermy is an art and quality work takes time. Typically, most turnaround
times range from 6 months to 1 year depending on the amount and type of
work desired for your trophy.
Having a passion for taxidermy and wildlife since 1980, state and federally
licensed for over 30 years, Hutch is a master taxidermist and it shows,
he has taken countless awards for his work. Among them are first and second
place awards, peoples' choice and the most original and creative presentation
award at his past few taxidermy shows. Being that Hutch is a certified
taxidermist through the state of Pennsylvania means that he must constantly
continue his education to keep his certificate current. In addition to
constantly honing and perfecting his craft in an effort to remain one
of the top certified taxidermists in Pennsylvania, Hutch takes every opportunity
to exceed expectations and go that extra mile to give you the best mount
possible.
He has studied under some of the biggest
names in taxidermy, having just completed classes under World Champion
Taxidermist Mike Rohanna. Hutch is also a certified CWD (Chronic Wasting
Disease) technician for the Pennsylvania Department of Agriculture. Hutch
has taken every opportunity to refine his skills so that his customers
may receive the best mount possible.
